Well, today I finally sat down and looked at dates and routes. 
Yes, as a matter of fact, I DO know that there is a faster way!!  However, someone doesn't want to go on "that highway" in California so we'll dance around the country in gypsy-like fashion! 

Not completely confident that I'll stick to the route... waiting for advice from Oregonians in regard to driving from the east to the southwest...  Need SAFEST route when considering my travel party!



Huxley and Button  -  Bless their hearts, they won't know what hit them when we arrive!

ANYWAY...  I will be heading to the northwest in June... with an extended stay in Oregon where I will be house-sitting and pet-sitting (a young Labradoodle named Huxley and a kitten named Button). 

This should be a hoot as I travel with my two Australian Labradoodles and my 82 year old mother. 

I hope to use this blog as a way to stay connected... and maybe share a story or two!.
